📜 Terms of Service

By adding Among-Bot to your Discord server or using its commands, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use or invite the bot.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

• You must comply with Discord's official Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Server administrators who invite the bot warrant that they have the necessary permissions to manage the server on behalf of their community.

2. Usage Rules & Conduct

When interacting with the bot and its commands (including minigames, XP tracking, and moderation tools), you agree not to:

• Exploit or Automate: Use self-bots, macros, or scripts to automate commands (e.g., auto-farming XP or spamming minigames like !slots, !scramble, or !wordle).
• Abuse Bugs: Intentionally exploit bugs, glitches, or database flaws. Any discovered vulnerabilities should be reported immediately to the support team.
• Harassment & Misuse: Use custom profile settings (/setprofile) or say commands (!say) to broadcast harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

3. Server Moderation & Custom Features

• Moderation Tools: Features such as warning tracking (/warn), sticky messages (!stick), and log channels (/setlogschannel) are provided to assist server managers. Server admins are responsible for how these tools are configured and enforced in their communities.
• Message Snipe: The message recovery feature (/snipe) operates strictly on short-term cached data. Using snipe to systematically harass users is prohibited.

4. Service Availability & Modification

• "As-Is" Service: The bot is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted uptime or error-free operation.
• Right to Restrict Access: We reserve the right to blacklist or restrict access to any user or server violating these terms or abusing bot functionality without prior notice.

🔒 Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Among-Bot collects, how it is stored, and how it is used across servers.

1. Information We Collect

To function properly, the bot stores and processes minimal Discord data:

• User Identifiers: Your Discord User ID, username, and avatar references (used to manage XP levels, custom profiles, achievement progress, and warning histories).
• Server & Channel Data: Server (Guild) IDs and Channel IDs (used to store custom configurations like log channels, sticky message locations, and server-specific rules/achievements).
• Game & Activity Data: Mini-game statistics (e.g., Wordle, Scramble, Tic-Tac-Toe, Slot machine logs) and achievement unlock records.
• Temporary Cache (Snipe Feature): Recent deleted messages (up to 3 MAX) content are held temporarily in memory (RAM) to support the /snipe command. This data is never written to a permanent database and is purged automatically after an hour or upon a bot restart.

2. How We Use Your Data

The collected data is strictly used to:

• Track and display server levelling (/xp), leaderboards, and user profiles.
• Maintain server-specific moderation logs, warnings, and sticky messages.
• Save interactive minigame records and achievement completions.
• Ensure fair play and prevent command spam/abuse.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Permanent data (XP scores, profile settings, server configurations, warning records) is securely stored in a database.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties under any circumstances.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Temporary Data: Cached messages (/snipe) expire automatically within an hour.
• Permanent Data: Data associated with a server is saved while the bot remains in that server. Once the bot is removed from a server, the server's configuration data may be purged.
• Requesting Deletion:
  • Server admins can clear specific bot data (e.g., resetting XP or log channels).
  • Users can request a complete wipe of their profile/XP data by contacting our support team or joining our Support Server.
  • Removing the bot from a server may result in the server's configuration data being purged.
